Our backstory
It all started in 2008, with two brothers, a summer break, and a dad with some wise (and funny) advice:
“If you play video games all day, your brain will turn into a peanut!”
We made some flyers, borrowed a mower, and got to work. Before long, the neighborhood lawns were shining – and Sunshine Lawn Care was born.
With help from our family, we built a website, hired our first crew, and turned our simple idea into a thriving business. What started as a way to pay for scout camp soon became our path to paying for college – and building a future.
The Evolution
As our customers’ needs grew, so did our vision. We expanded beyond mowing – into tree trimming, landscaping, and hardscaping.
We became Sunshine Lawn & Tree, with a new look, a higher standard of excellence, and a focus on design, beauty, and craftsmanship.
The playful sun in shades grew up – and so did we.
The Next Chapter
Our customers began asking, “Do you know anyone who can help inside the house too?”
Today, we’re proud to be Sunshine Home Hero - your one-stop home service team providing all of your home care needs, inside and out, built on the same reliability and friendly service you’ve always known.
With the addition of our Home Cleaning and Handy Maintenance departments, we are ready to tackle everything from indoor dirt and dust, to lawn care and light fixtures.
Our new logo features two heroes who are here to save the day. Together, they symbolize what Sunshine has always been about: family, integrity, hard work, and serving others.
